Any plans for in-Game polls and reworked of the journal system?
--- Post updated ---
Yes actually. We're starting with an in-game announcement window that will be modified and improved upon over time and will include polls. The in-game journal will be migrated away from the archaic web journal to in-game windows, likely sharing the task journal or another window entirely.

... this forum software drives me crazy sometimes.
Thanks for letting us know.
Can you guys put patchnotes and important changes ingame aswell? WoW does a pretty good job with a "What's new" window on conent releases. This might make less people confused about changes; as seen before many people didn't read the 1-5 changes and were confused.
Yes you forgot to take it.
Yep as Neil stated above we have an announcements window we're adding in game which to start will be just patch notes and news but will be expanded on in time.
To the comment about volunteer Dev team we've had several full time people such as Neil and Kilrain, 2 QA people and an artist full time for a few months now. There's also a web Dev and various other roles in the dev team/company on part/full time payroll. Much of that work is going to become more prevalent in the next few patches as there's new content and important changes that will vastly improve the game. New village system that will tie in with the upcoming territory control towers, champion loot improvements with new unique weapon drops and crafts, markets, Control towers and alignment improvements/factions.
These are some of the pieces of the new roadmap which are planned to go in over the next few months leading into next year.

I was curious if we could ever get a Vgs system in game like many other games have for communicating instead of relying on chat boxes or proximity voice which could be lag inducing in huge sieges.
I can think of like 5 games where I can communicate with people from memory without even being in the game.
Example smite players;
