is there gonna be a ac subway
It depends on what they mean by 'expanding on territory control' and how in depth the housing decorating system is going to be. Those are both things that will be incentives.
I'd really, really like to see more ways of personalizing characters though. You know, typical RPG stuff. Adding more armor sets will help a lot I think, so looking forward to that.
I'm not really excited about any of these changes honestly, hopefully we can cook some good ideas up before launch...
Removal of portal chambers from holdings is a bad fucking idea
I don't know why you think it's a good idea to remove them? Why can't holdings retain value AND be a wilderness portal system?
Wouldnt the removal of them in cities and the addition of them around cities add value to all cities/holdings surrounding, instead of just the one?
If there is 100's of wilderness portals, this could work. If there is less than 20 around the world, games fucked.
Currently I think there is only 2 in game.
Can someone explain to me what the desired effect of the wilderness chambers is supposed to be?
Considering they are one way, I would guess there would probably be at least 50. That is my guess based on how they used the ones in game already.
Dest can confirm but the number of portals was designed to be substantial. It would allow the world to remain massive but through these portals users can make paths to get around easily. It's a form of instant travel while still requiring regular travel so as to encourage more organic encounters in the world.
I know how it works, I played asherons call. Just making sure you aren't going to UNDER do it.
The new armor sets and tailoring gear is what I am looking forward to the most from this. Player vendors as well I guess.

Good spot to camp for PvP.
Great move on getting rid of clan city portal chambers. There are soooo many holdings out there that are owned by alliances only for fast travel, nothing built but a bank and portal chamber.
Getting rid of the portal chambers will result in a smaller clan owning the holding and actually living there.
I'm excited for DFUW 2.O. Keep up the good work guys
They did it shitty, but UW had "champion spawns". Kill x amount of little creatures enticing a large more powerful one to show up that dropped rare loot.
Kill X amount of creatures and LOOT vouchers to turn in for rewards at an NPC. Nithron coins maybe? Boom, Hotspot.
Make a giant 10-15 required man mob that takes an hour to kill.
Table checkers/board games in an NPC tavern you can play with friends
Tame able AESTHETIC creatures. A porcupine, deer, kangaroo etc. "figurine" that could be spawnable in NPC cities only.
Land Towers. "King of the hill" style?
These are straight off the tip of the dick ideas. I appreciate a road map, and most of the changes look great, but please consider adding some eye catching content.
I like the kill "x" to spawn boss but i think they should also do just straight up rare rare rare spawns for cosmetics/the ability to craft a unique mount, etc. I use to check for those everywhere in tibia, keeps you busy when theres nothing else to do.
Is there going to be some system to inform players where the portals are? i imagine new players will find it frustrating trying to find them if none are marked.
Also i see nothing about actual content ingame. The biggest issue right now is reasons to log in and play daily. Most people duel in their cities because there is no motivation to roam. We need actual content to do on a daily basis, and less things tied to timers.
I really just don't see anything what so ever that is going to retain anyone other than the 50 people who are not going anywhere anyways.
Also to give more fast travel options to solo players and smaller clans that currently have no easy access to city portals so they can also explore all areas of a large world.
What will be added to replace the value in holdings that is lost with the removal of chambers? I'm curious if anyone will bother investing the resources into sieges once there is little to no benefit from owning a multitude of holdings.
Implementation is everything, but I like a lot of the ideas in the updated road map.
Would also like to see something a little more ambitious as well (champion spawns as 1 example ) , but overall, I like it.
